Settings

The settings page (see Figure 35) allows admin users to configure a variety of system wide and device specific options for the system. User can navigate this page by selecting the "Settings" options in the dropdown navigation menu (see Figure 3). Settings relating to all device types are explained in the following sections. Device specific settings can be found in the relevant section.

Max Group Depth

Max group depth configures the maximum depth sub groups can be created at in the group hierarchies. When set to two for example only root device groups can contain sub groups. While sub groups of these root groups may only contain devices. On these subgroup pages the "+ Add Group" option seen in Figure 13 will be absent. Altering this setting will change this depth across all device types. Note: this depth cannot be set below the current maximum group depth.

Alarm Email Addresses

When new alarms are triggered contacts on this list are emailed automated alarm reports informing them of the event. Administrator can use the "+" and "-" buttons to add and remove email addresses as required.

Report Email

Every day addresses on this list will be emailed automatically generated report summaries on the devices in the system. Administrator can use the "+" and "-" buttons to add and remove email addresses as required.
